This is really annoying and pointless to me, but it seems like it's working because every car company [ibb84d57bc1]has[/ibb84d57bc1] to have this theme in their commercials now.

If they don't do this, then they at least have to address it by saying something like "Employee discounts suck. We have a better deal!".

Who was first to do this? GM?

Its great for us b/c when they had this deal tons of people started to buy cars, Now from what i hear alot of people are buying cars so thay are keeping the deals out there. they are selling more cars at a lower price. I just think its bad for those employes they dont get a deal anymore LOL

I guess I just tune these ads out; if they are actually good deals then it's cool. Maybe I just figured it would be the same sales they would have anyway, but they all just call it the same thing.

Hmm... if only I was in the market for a new car.

I heard that employee pricing really isn't "employee pricing" because employees get even more of a discount than what is shown as the employee price.

The whole YOU PAY WHAT WE PAY NOT A CENT MORE! is kind of a lie because they get further discounts depending on their time working for the company.

Don't quote me, I just heard this. I don't know if it's true or not and I could care less actually.

Well, I'm just saying that Ford and Chrysler are also doing it, with all their brands (of course). So, I was just wondering who did it [i5d1f04b009]first[/i5d1f04b009]. This was simply out of curiousity.

i have always gotten 10% off ford/mazda/every other company part of that group because my aunt works for hertz. my dad got his 2004 f-150 lariat (loaded) for like 32 or something like that. but he was spending over $600 a month like a year ago so he sold it. who knows what he would be spending on gas now.
