this was kind of old news for me, but I didnt think they would release it pretty early, and if gratis releases this that would be great, assuming the graphics and features are good.

any screenshots of games or anything else regarding micro?

what's with the screenshot of the rendered Samus? It looks like a screen from the DS game.

I don't really think it looks that great. Are they just trying to compete with the PSP?

It's just a regular gameboy that is tiny and looks trendy it can go on your keychain

Thats an expensive keychain. I wonder how many will be stolen in the first year they are out. If its that small and you leave your keys somewhere. Bye bye to that keychain/.

arghh, once again I must say

"It's all downhill from here" for Nintendo....

Yeah Nintendo, is like the little boy of the gaming community. It'd be pretty neat if they came out of no where, and surpassed Sony and Microsoft lol

I like it, and nintendo owns the portable gaming market. PSP wont even put a dent in it. Too expensive, too short battery life for me to ever want one.

game boy's are exactly what you want fun small portable super nintendos

whats wrong with super nintendo?

they were talking about handhelds at E3... psp sold about half as many consoles as ds did... a new handheld selling like that gotta tell you that nintendo is going down very, VERY soon.

I like nintendo, but how many portable systems do you have to make? They would also do a lot better if they targeted their games to someone over 12.

from nintendo's e3 press confernce

Reggie Fils-Aime came out and proceeded to take some names, mostly that of arch-rival Sony. He talked about the numbers everyone has been hearing, 360, 128-bit, but that he had only one number for us to remember. Two … as in billion, which is the number of games Nintendo has sold since they entered the business in 1985.

He talked about how Nintendo as sold 28 million Game Boy Advance units in the US, roughly the same as the number of PS2 units sold. The Nintendo DS has sold over five million units worldwide, double that of the PSP. He was quick to point out that PSP has yet to launch in Europe, but he said that was because Sony couldn’t deliver, and that isn’t his problem. The tie ratio (software units sold per hardware unit sold) for the DS is 41, again doubling that of the PSP. The final slide was not at all a surprise, as Nintendo touted that with the GBA and the DS, Nintendo controls 94% of the handheld market. So much for there being “three pillars.”
