Yeah, it's really long. You can skim and stuff, but long story short

They charged me when they told me they wouldn't, then refused to give me a full refund. I've been fighting for my money for several, several months.
I've sent and received over 30 emails, and talked to over ten people. It's ridiculous.

Yup, I just read the whole thing. I aint doin anything with them. I saw their ad and was thinking about it one time. But you've convinced me otherwise bro. I would have said screw it on like the third e-mail and made a claim on my credit card, but like you said you were motivated by principle not the refund. You never got the 7.95 back right?

thats fucked up......i mean i know its not a lot of money, but still.

you may have registered your domain with them, but you couldnt actually use it could you? so they wouldve been as well just giving you the money back.

after about the 5th e-mail from them i could tell it wasnt going to go anywhere, it just seemed like they were telling you the same shit over and over again.

i hope you get it sorted out!

I still haven't received my money. I'm still in contact and I'm still updating it.

I don't know if I can use the domain. I didn't need it, so I wouldn't use it anyway, which was what I was trying to explain to them.

Right now they're conferring with the senior manager. I wonder if this will get to the CEO or something.

It's not even a lot of money. Those guys are stubborn (but not as much as me).

what bitches

im not ever hosting with them

i read the whole thing it was intriguing. seriously thats the worst customer support i've ever seen in my life.

hehehhehe

Make sure you spread your link everywhere so that these guys lose business... Bad service needs to get punished.

Indeed. That's the plan.

I'm bumping this up.

I've updated the page to include all the emails I've sent and received. I won't be emailing them again until I get 1,000 visitors to the page mentioned above. When I do, I'll email them again with a link to the stats that page has received (viewable here[=http//my.statcounter.com/project/standard/stats.php?project_id=962666&guest=1]here), and attempt to get my money back. If I do, I'll update the page to mention it, and stop spreading the link everywhere I can.

So, feel free to spread the link. May the consumer reign once again.

I read the whole thing. That really sucks.

Btw, does anyone know of a statcounter that goes past 100? The one I'm using for this site requires a monthly subscription to go up to 1,000.

ilanbg, I'd be more than glad to host you and buy a domain (dot5scam.com?) because you deserve to get your story out there. i read the entire thing, its ridiculas. you should remain in contact with the bbb to make sure that something happens.

gg I've Pmed you.

I plan on contacting the BBB again before long.

It's a good thing I'm arrogant enough to get angry when someone messes with me like this, because $8 is really a small charge in the long run.

That's how I felt dealing with OC. I'd send them a confirmation email, and they'd write back "We have no indication that you have done any offers" again and again.

goofygarber has graciously set up hosting and domain registration for this. The new website is http//dot5scam.com[]http//dot5scam.com. Check it out.
