Who has played & finished Final Fantasy VII?
I got to talking to Nusqax earlier today (see his avatar), and started reminising about the FFVII days back in 9th grade of HighSchool.
This was probably one of the greatest (and most popular) games ever created.
So FIPG'ers, who here has beaten this 50 hour+ game?

I beat ff7 several times. I also beat both weapons (ruby and emerald). It was the greatest game I have ever played and probably ever will play (not much into games these days).

The reason FF7 is better than the others is because of the story. Plus it has much more interesting sideplots. Yes, J, it is a role playing game.

I killed that game, got all the master materias. Killed all the weapons. Best Final Fantasy of the series in my opinion, with FFX right behind it. Absolutely cannot wait for Advent Children lipatiently awaits torrent sites to release itli lol

wood those are my thoughts exactly! +kma for you .... ff7 is easily my favourite game ever, beaten over a dozen times, with ff6(3us) right behind it .... i actually liked ff8 more than most did, and yes the card game was awesome ... and that's a big 10-4 on excitement for advent children, i've seen all the trailers and i'm pumped for it D ahh i'm all happy now lol got some ff chat in

I loved the card game in FF8! I found it particularly hard to get Laguna's card though... same with Edea's.

ya for sure ... the lunar base and edea's house were rank for that ... if you wanted to take the time, you could abolish random from them, but it's a gross process ... anyways back onto ff7, wood mentioned party of choice, so i have to oblige ... for all my late-game developing, i went with cloud, cid, and yuffie ... cuz yuffie has the conformer for 1/1 morph damage (in the crashed gelnika) for sources, cid has the scimitar for triple materia growth, and cloud has the apocalypse, also for triple materia growth ... easiest levelling up there is imho D

No Red XIII? He was my favorite character besides cloud. My party usually consisted of those two plus Cid.

ya what happened with mine was i'd develop enough to get master materia and 255 strength etc, and by that point it didn't matter what my party was ... it'd be sweet if they made a weapon-weapon lol that you could only beat with maxed everything ... i think i'll do one of those challenge games next time (eg no materia, initial equip, or something like that)

Beaten it 7 times, thinking of starting my 8th this september (and the game still hasnt goten old, talk about replaibility!)
My parties
Cloud, Barret, Red XIII
Cloud, Barrent, Vincent
Cloud, Tifa, Vincent.
Last one is probably my favorite. All the characters were good to use though.
