2005-2006 NFL Season: Mixed emotions for a Vikings Fan

Well, for those of you that weren't aware, I'm a die-hard Vikings fan. Worse, Randy Moss is my favorite player. While I'm excited to see what the 05-06 season brings for the Vikings...I'm also fearful that the Vikings will be lost without the remarkable #84 streaking down the field. How do you feel about the upcoming season, and your team's off-season changes? This reminds me of a few years ago when Ray Allen (my favorite NBA Player, barely ahead of Tracy McGrady) left my favorite NBA team, the Milwaukee Bucks....it literally caused me to stop watching the NBA. I now watch only NCAA basketball.

im also a die hard vikings fan, i go to all but 1 or 2 home games a season and usually a few away ones

Vikings will be fine without moss, the only thing he seemed to do well was create a diversion and be double teamed after hsi first 3 years. Passes rarely got thrown to him because of this. I'm not saying that isnt a good thing, but I think the vikes will do fine without him. They seemed to pick up just about every position they needed in this offseason, which is why they are ranked in the top 5 preseason. Cullpepper just signed a 10 year $100 million + deal so I guess he'll stick around for awhile. Anyway I'll stop now with this, BRING BACK CHRIS HOVAN

Holy shit you're a vikings fan? +Kma for you. But yeah i'm a vikings fan too. I really liked Randy Moss but then he betrayed me and went to the Raiders so i don't like him anymore. but Tonydanza's right, Moss hardly ever caught any passes. He was a great decoy though. Altogether, i have the feeling that the vikings will be a lot better this year. Their defense should be top 10.

I'm not a Vikings or a Packers fan, but I'd say the Vikings are a lot better off this year than the Packers are D

I'm very pleased with the Lions' off-season changes on the field. Not a huge fan of them signing Millen (their GM) for 5 more years, but oh well. They've got some amazing offensive threats out there now, we just need a consisent quarterback.

being from detroit i am stuck with the lions...i hope Harrington either shows he was worth the money or is gone by the 5th game...if my boy C Rogers stays healthy things will be good....Roy Williams will only get better

as for the Vikings...they best thing that they could have done is get rid of Moss and bulk up their defense...they will be a strong team this year...not to say that they wernt strong...Donte will show fans that he is the true leader of that team not Moss
