TR Suggestion

To receive TR, both parties need to complete their end of the agreement. We all know that.

So when someone gets scammed, not only are they getting screwed out of a green, but they're also getting screwed out of +1 TR.

Wouldn't it make sense for someone to get TR whenever they uphold their end of the bargain, or give TR to whoever did their end of a trade with a known scammer?

Who is going to confirm you ever went green for the scammer?

Couldnt me and you do a trade. You have to go first. You never go green, but we still have the open trade module.
You claim scammage and want trade record even though you never went green...

Also, theres no point in putting your TR record from other sites in your signature, they aren't valid here.

wood Yes. That's not what I was suggesting. I meant we give TR to those who did their end of a trade with someone who is later banned for scamming. A mod would review the trading module and see that Person A went yellow, then two days later went green, then send multiple PMs to Person B, who was later banned for scamming.
Basically, Person A would get SOMETHING for going green, even though they were scammed.

how would the mod know the person went green? the only person who would know that is the scammer.

yeah thats true, but look at some of the scammer thread's out there.

Look at frankgratis that thread has been there for quite a while now, he never bothered to discredit anyone that claimed they greened for him. It is easy to see the first 15 people in the thread went green. So it could work on some level

plus we could take a screenshot of the site we joined and show our status page. I think that would be enough proof

Would need some sort of proof

A screenshot not excluding your email and such sent to the mod might work

Or you could try to get official word from the Admin of the free site that you did in fact do an offer.

yeah I think if the person who is said scammer can't provide a screenshot of his referalls with the date and time and you being yellow. Yet you can provide such a screenshot of your account being yellow that should be enough.

However what wood is saying is right, we don't want people crying wolf just to get TR from this.

just about everyone here has been scammed at one point in another.. its an unfortunate learning experience. just deal with the fact that you missed out on a +TR and use your newly acquired knowledge to make good trades.
