Another disappearing dot illusion

We've all seen countless disappearing dot illusions on the internet, and they're all cool. But for some reason I found this one to be REALLY cool.



Stare at the center till the dots become green, then keep staring and see what happens.

I was prepared for some fat beast to pop out, too. lol

I wouldn't care if one would pop out. I've done stuff like that even when I know something will pop out. None of you like a good healthy scare?

Now you are correct, it is an animated gif. However, if you look at it right, the purple dots seem to disappear. They don't actually disappear. Its "decieving" your eyes. Its an ILLUSION of an OPTICAL nature.

I don't really get what it's suppose to do....

It erases the dots so its like you see nothing, then the dots go back.

Ah, I wasn't looking at it right, I thought you were just showing us a fake optical illusion. I looked again, you have to go kind of cross eyed, and they do look like the disappear. Pretty cool.

its also pretty cool how the missing dot goes green, almost automatic for me.. even though it doesnt ever change colors

When I stare at it all I see is a stupid green dot moving in circles.

I see it very easliy, if i look at it more than 10 seconds it all disapeers

I stared at it for 30 seconds and I still saw the same thing.

You have to focus on the centre. I did, and all the dots disappeared. I was half expecting another thing to pop up and scare me.

I did focus on the center. I guess it just doesn't work for me.

wow my eyes did something weird and another circle appeared, one all green one all purple.
