I finished the allure trial offer and when I called customer service the guy asked what the offer that I did it for was. I asked him what meant, and he said "signing up for something like and ipod or a computer". I think they're catching on.

I just said that it was for an ipod, and then he typed something. I guess they're taking notes on these sites now.

yeah i think it's inevitable.

if a shitoad of people are signing up and then ahem'ing, then they will probably wanna do something about it.

the way i see it though is that what are the chances that these companies would have had our business in the 1st place?

so even if every single person who did these offers, ahem'ed every one of them, the companies are still making money from people they probably wouldnt have in the 1st place.

Next time they ask don't say anything about the free stuff. Just say you didn't like the service and you don't feel like continuing with it.

Yeah, I'd probably do that. Not that they couldn't figure out who they're paying for what referral...

Yep, I don't know why people would mention a free site when aheming.
