Hey guys. I usually access newsgroups for files.
Found this today (sorry about all the characters)
Tried to download it, but I don't think the whole file is up yet, only got a piece of it. I can't test it, and can't find any info on it online. I am guessing you can only downgrade from 1.51 or 1.52. If anyone wants it, just post and I will let you know when I get the full file. Again if you get the file from me I take no responcibility for what happens to your PSP ). Anyone, just thought it was interesting and wanted to share it with everyone. Everything I get off of the newsgroups has always been legit and as the title states. )

I ordered a 1.5 off ebay last night, but its all good b/c I wouldn't trust myself too much to do it. I mean, I trust myself, but I wouldnt feel like taking the chance

I heard that the PSP will be able to browse the internet and stuff in a while when a new update comes out.

Can do it with homebrew now. Someone is coming out with a browser that does more than the 2.0 browser

that downgrade file is fake FOR SURE
if it were real it would be posted in all the psp homebrew sites
PSP updates especially would mention it.......
if you have a 1.51 1.52 or 2.0 psp you're fucked, simple as that
no free psp games or homebrew for you D

I've got the the 2.0 firmware loaded and LOVE the updates. I've been waiting for the WPA support for wireless security and the speed of this browser puts the homebrew/hacks to shame.
I haven't been big on the 10-15 year old games on my PSP, so the updated firmware didn't hold me back at all. I'm a huge fan of the PSP games and DVD movies (on the mem stick).
Besides, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before someone breaks the update firmware too....
