I feel stupid

I read Collaterals post about Judge Mathis, so I decided to check it out. I turned on my Sony Wega that I got from Gratis. As the TV turns on the sounds gets really loud. So I turn it back down and turn away. It goes back up in volume... I turned the TV off and back on, same shit. I get all frustrated and get Sony on the phone. They ask me about my warrenty, which I had no idea about. So, I told him I'd look for the papers and call back...

Then I look on the floor and see my remote under my bed with a DVD box sitting on the volume button...

Yah, I have a Wega too. It's pretty awesome considering before I had a 19" in my room.

I've had that happen to me before. Only it went up in channels because something was on the channel button.

Did you actually GO to the TV and turn it on/off?? I havent touched my TV after having set it up. Only use the remote..

My TV is about a foot from my computer, so I don't use the remote unless I'm lying in bed.
