I got my free PSP 1001 K Value Pack from Gratis the other day. I have it listed on Ebay, 3 day auction, $200 starting price with cheap shipping.

If anyone is interested in the link let me know.

Why would you start the bidding at $200? For an item like an unopened PSP, you can start it at 99 cents and be 100% sure it'll hit over 200. It would have saved you on the listing fee..

Yes, for the most part, I get more for the auctions I put up if I start them low. Leaves it open to be a contest among bidders. You start it high and there is no contest.

Yeah it's smarter to do it that way sometimes but for my xbox from freegamingsystems, I set it at $150 to start because I wanted to sell it for that set price and I didn't think anyone would bid it up to that high. And my xbox sold for $150 with $20 shipping.

I started the Mac Mini I got at .99 and ended up over 500...I thought about setting the reserve at 400 but was glad I didn't.

Why didn't you just put a reserve on it? I put my iPod up on eBay and it was used and I put a reserve of $110. I only got $115 out of it but that's still a good amount considering it's used and also that the value has dropped dramatically.

lol.. to answer the many questions...

I don't sell much stuff on Ebay. I basically wanted to make sure I got at least 200 for it, I kept shipping low, so I think I'll still get some competition, and I threw in that free mp3 player thing, that to an outsider, might spark extra interest.

As for a reserve, I didn't want to beat around the bush.

As for posting the link to the auction, well, you're all smart and figured it out, search by seller, use my forum name )

The one stupid mistake I made was listing it at 200.00 instead of 199.99, so I changed that and saved 1.20.

So, the bottom line was, listing at .99 or 199.99. The difference was $2.15 and I can rest easier )

I hate putting reserves on stuff. People just look at your price and see that there is a reserve so they don't get as interested IMO. For the xbox deal, it was a take it or leave it thing.
