Weezer

Well I've already done a band thread, but I'm listening to Pinkerton right now and it's so brilliant I thought I'd make a thread on Weezer. So who listens to Weezer?

And what'd you think of Make Believe? Besides the pretty crappy "Beverly Hills," I thought it was a great album.

i dont have their new one, or pinkerton, or maladroit....infact all i have are "the Green Album" and "The Blue Album".....in fact im gonna listen to the green album on my iPod now D

You should get Pinkerton, it's probably their best.

i might be going to a free Weezer concert tommorow its sponsored by a local radio station in atlanta.

i was reading Spin tonight and they had the 100 greatest albums of the last 20 years, and Pinkerton was Weezers best (and only) entry......number 37 or something i think.

i heard el scorcho or something but didnt like it so i thought they were all like that.

Beverly hills is a great song, it just does not belong in that album. But yeah, there new stuff kicks ass!

they had Weezers greatest hits on MTV2 last night.....in a 30 minute show they played 4 videos!

the rest was fuckin adverts! its ridiculous the amount of adverts on TV here......i dont think Buddy Holly, Beverly Hills, Hash Pipe and Sweater Song are their greatest hits....theyre good but those arent their best (

I saw them about 5 years ago they put on a good show. But I was like 14 so anything would probably have been good.

I never got into weezer though they do have some good songs

Nope im not really into new rock these days i personally think it all sucks its rare that a new rock group that comes out actually impresses me.

I love el scorcho, but it's not really a true representation of what the album's like.

Listen to weezer? Look at my sn, ha. Most hardcore fans like Pink the best but I think Blue is brilliant and will always be thee album. They're my favorite but what sucks is everytime I try to see them live something always comes up. I heard them practice at the Warfield but I was 3 people away from getting in... sucked so bad (Didn't have money until it was too late). Anywho, the best songs on Make Believe (better than Maladroit) are This is Such a Pity, Hold me, My Best Friend, Haunt You Every Day. Pity has an 80s vibe, its rad. Hold has the best intro. Best friend scored major points for me when I introduced it to my gf heh. weez fuckin rules.

haha i was wondering when you were gonna show up. Those are all up there with the best on Make Believe, but i'd add "perfect situation" to that list.

saw weezer last night(sat) for free in the ATL....great show...i do agree that pinkerton is the best but the origianl blue album is a must have
