Do any of you guys mess around with this stuff? I just want to play Mario on my comp, I don't quite no how these things work. And I came across a site but I don't quite know what I'm supposed to download.
I saw that this guy that I worked with used this to play Mario, but I don't want to ask hiim about b/c I don't want to talk to him lol roll
So someone help me please!

well when I found out everything, I tell you.
the guy that I work with has like 100s of games for a whole bunch of different systems.
since I'm a NES kind of girl I just want that to play mario.

ive got a cd with loads of emulators and roms on it, nes, snes, 64 and sega i think are on it.....i got it from my brother-in-law so i dunno where he got them from.
i could have a look and see how big they are, maybe i could send them to you.

Quick questions on the legality of this.
Since the NES and Games aren't sold through retail anymore, does that make this legal?
I know technically speaking roms and emulators in general are illegal(although I use them alot), but I was wondering if the fact that they aren't sold anymore make it legal?

I used to have an N64 emultaor on my comp but I didn't save it when I reformatted. I love Ocarina of time.

I think they always have a disclaimer that says if you don't own the game, then it's illegal to have the ROM.

It's so hard playing mario on there, the controls are weird. Jump is the F button, wtf is up with that? The screen is small too and can't enlarge it

Im more into next gen emulation (gamecube ps2 etc...) but i used to like emus of older systems too. If any of you guys own a psp
there are lots of great emulators you can put on it for other systems... D

newsgroups is the best for any roms, period.. esp. new ones.
emule is good for getting packs of roms.

I just installed fce ultra on my xbox along w/ about 150 roms...so yeah i got all the marios covered and I can play em all w/ a normal type controler )
