Donations/Forum Ads

I've setup the Amazon Honor System for donations and forum ads, since PayPal sucks.

If anyone was attempting to donate in the past few weeks and couldn't, now's a great time to try it again.

Also, forum ads are now significantly cheaper than before. Buy one and support us!

I did. Pretty bad. But not as bad as my first website (I was 11, and i'm 18 now, so that makes it... 1998? But I seem to remember it being 1997. Pretty god-awful though!)

I'm confused as to the process because Amazon says that none of my info including my email will be shown to you so how will you know it is me who donated?

There's an option to "send info" after you've donated. You choose that and then I can link it to you.

please elaborate on the process of sending

You click the button, and input the dollar amount (or leave it at the default). You confirm it, then on the thank-you page you click "send info" which transmits your name/email/etc to me. Then you email me a note indicating your link (for mainpage or forum ad) and I put it in the queue. I wait 7 days to put it in the queue because amazon lets people change their mind about donations, so if I didn't do that I could easily get screwed )

For which one? Forum text ads can be purchased by clicking "Text Ad" at the top of any forum page. The donation page for the main site is at http//freeipodguide.com/?ops=donatefinal - also linked from the main page in about 10 places )
