It's a torrent site that's hosted in the UK. They "specialize" in MP3's mostly...but have a variety of filetypes...I just want to check it out.

They might have filled up, i know their other site filielist is full, they regularly clean out users though so just refresh and eventually you'll get in

FileMP3 still has signups.

I joined when Oink was new. It was all pink and all the mp3s were terrible back then. So, I hear it's gotten really good but my account got cleaned out.

Use torrentsearch.com it searches all different torrent sites at once or just use torrentspy.com

If the only way to get in is through invite, im sure its not that good of a site to download from if there arent alot of seeds

Sorry about thAT COMPletely forgot I posted in this thread. Basically a newsgroup is a site where you can post messages and files. I use alt.blilili.dvdr to get my dvds. I get new dvds, mp3's, and appz from different newsgroups. The thing with newsgroups though its much better for 0 day warez, meaning that youll prolly have a tough time finding an album from the 80's. It works great for all current releases however. The bad thing about newsgroups is that files will dissapear if not downloaded within a certain amount of time. Newsgroups have a certain retention period. On Giganews once a file is posted it, it will stay on the site for download for about 30 days.

Thats a news service provider. Think its like $25 a month for ulimited access. i think its worth it. I also know that a lot of Cable ISP's provide their own news servicefor free. You have to contact your ISp to see how its supported. Think optimumonline had unlimited downloads but comcast has a 1 gb max per month.
