Any chance you could link to your auction?

I always thought I would share this, but figured the prices would then drop. ) My best sell on ebay, (and my only offer I sold) was the Hydroderm wrinkle cream. It was under some other Hydroderm offer I did on a Gratis site, and they gave me the option to buy it for $1.95, I thought I had to buy it to get credit, so I did. After I got it, I put that little 30ml thing of "stuff" on eBay. It sold for $40 or something like that, and with s/h it came to $47.00.

I'm not sure if you can still get that offer, but if you see it, get it and sell it!

no, it's already ended.
sorry

so far i've sold all my samples and haven't had to re-list anything.
too bad i cant say that for the designer clothes i'm trying to sell.
seems everyone wants fake diet pills and Botox "alternative" and not expensive clothes for cheap.
roll

ps if you sell your stuff, dont put things like "Hydroderm, not Botox" or "Corticet, not Cortislim"
your auctions will be cancelled for what they call "spamming" which is putting what the product is NOT, in your auction, in order to gain more views.

Is it even illegal, since they're not even prescription pills?

It honestly wasn't worth it though. I signed up for Hydroderm when I was a trading newbie and didn't know that you had to return some of these things. So I ended up paying $50 for this. As you can see, I made $41 dollars back, so $9 for a referral wasn't THAT bad, but still.

You only have to return the pills you got with it, not the wrinkle reducer.

02-07-2005 06:04:27

......I didn't get any pills with it.

Sonofshoe

Oh. I had signed up for some weight loss pills, and had the option to get the wrinkle reducer. I had to return the pills, but not the wrinkle reducer.

Feds knocking on your door for some wrinkle cream?? Hahaha

vdubgirl

the feds wont be knocking on anyone's doors.
these pills are NOT approved by the FDA and therefore not government regulated.
they're purely dietary supplements, not perscription pills (which ARE regulated by the FDA).

if you look on the boxes or small print, it'll tell you exactly that.
selling these is like selling vitamin C.

when i posted mine on ebay, i listed a short description of what I was selling, included bullet points/text/pic from the product's website, and i also included "more info on this can be found at www.websitehere.com"

totally legit ad, selling a totally legit product (do a search for them and look how many are up). i made most of my money back because i got at least $6 for each product (which covered the original shipping i paid) and then some went up to $20, which helped cover the $80 i lost with Appera.

Forget to cancel? Even if you filled out the online cancelation thing, and they still sent you this the product, let your CCC know and tell them, I'm sure they can do somethign to help. I know on my MBNA card, I have a warranty on all the products I get thru my MBNA card.

You prob. already know this, but just in case, I figured I would let you know.

Appera told me that "once the product leaves the warehouse it can't be returned"
my response was "so you're telling me i just wasted 80 bucks?"
the guy replied "yes ma'am."

SUCK.
i sold all 3 bottles for $11 on ebay. so i lost like $70
lesson learned dont do a ton of offers at once and be more organized.

I still have stuff from the trials i've cancelled that say you need to send back but i havent gotten billed for anything yet. Would it be a good idea if i sell them? Its been a while

vdubgirl

06-07-2005 06:15:17

i'd wait a couple months.......i always return the stuff they want returned. i dont want to be surprised with $80 charges 3 months down the road.

i've already been surprised with enough charges, having my credit card online. GRR
