To tell you the truth, Stroid would probably be much more kind to you all if people stopped breaking the rules. It's hard to be nice when most everyone here acts as though we are paid to do this. They told you the solution so follow up on it. This topic and that topic needed no further discussion and were closed soon after. Greens dont magically happen on this site so thats why theirs a trading section. Go do some hw and find out how the site works and dont bother the mods with questions that dont require future discussions.

i just did. edited my posts before, i thought of it because i was considerate. but thats one thing i can agree with.

the way i see it, is i think people (nearly everyone who responded in the original thread) could've responded a bit better than the way they did. this guy didnt need flamed, he didnt have to be spoken to the way he was, all he was aking for was help.

if he had searched this forum prior to posting, he probably would have read that it was highly highly unlikely, that anyone would give him a freeipod referral.

these forums are open to one and all, we talk the way we wanna talk, we say what we wanna say. if you get banned, then you will be banned for the wrong reason.......for no reason.

if you have a problem with people speaking this way, then dont use these forums. if you would like to continue using these forums, then id suggest keeping a low profile till this blows over. otherwise more people will see this, more will dislike you (for whatever reason) and less people will help/trade with you.

This is not actually a public forum, it is accessable/ viewable to the "public"

Your statement is like saying a person who allows people to use his tiolet in his house then receives complaints from those people that they are not allowed to smoke, is being completely unfair and abusing his power.

People are only allowed to use the forum based on their willingness to follow the rules and guidelines established and enforced by the Admin and those who help him.

I guess when you put it that way it makes sense. It was kind of turning into a flame fest and I can understand locking it under those circumstances. My only real problem was that that was not the reason given and in fact the words used were rather harsh.

I see it as some new guy comes on the board asking for free referrals for freeipods.com (hardest site to get) because his was stolen. This may be true but many newbies have come on here, telling the same or similar story, and expect it to be a charity case, where as all the current members on here have worked long and hard for their referrals. Members start to get aggitated with repeated attempts of people trying to get free referrals and start flaming. I think Stroid did the right thing with locking it early because the flaming would have gotten much worse. People, its the internet, move on, get over it and start trading.

Let see i abused my mod powers by locking a thread that was basically one big flame hmm thats interesting. Basically i am justified and i dont need poeple to tell me wether what i did is wrong or not thats for us (admins/mods) to decide. I am really annoyed that you (Ethan) are saying i abused my powers when i used to like you we had a good trade. And Tim if you have a course on how to be a good mod please send it to me i will study it in detail
