I may rent my house out to friends and move. If I do this I will cancel my phone and DSL and take my computer as well. If they set up a new DSL account in the house will the IP and all that other fun stuff be different? I assume they would be ok but I don't want to tell them they can do all this free site stuff only to have OC or Gratis DQ them for using the same mailing address or having the same IP or something? Any thoughts?
Thanks guys!

Yes, the IP will most likely be different.

yeah but they have the same shipping address...nd if they check the accounts and see its going to the same shipping address, then they probably wont be able to do the sites or get their free stuff since its one account per household.

Damn, that sucks. What if I move into a house where someone already signed up for freeipods and I get screwed!

I am sure an email to the site will suffice.

I think if you move into a house, it'd be different. I take the word 'household' to mean family and house, not just the physical address. So if you're really moving, I think it would pass. Theysayjump is right though, since you're just renting out the house temporarily (I didn't read carefully the first time - thought you were moving for good), I wouldn't try it.

a SS# will prove that it's a diff. person
PS don't do OC sites. they screw you for no reason. stick to gratis

I think it would be ok with them as long as the new residents aren't your referrals. That would be really suspicious.
