I saw a thing awhile ago saying that google had a lot of job openings listed that hinted toward an OS. I bet they would make that free too.

i would much rather use an OS by google, than micro$oft....provided it wasnt a piece of shite.

As long as it's less of a PoS than windows i'm all for it.

Afterthought I really need to get around to dual booting Red Hat on my comp.

it's not really about how good the OS is but how much support it gets from people and software developers.

If you want to try it, go to fedora.redhat.com --> Free, 4 ISOs, and nice OS if you know what you;re doing (newbie-friendly as well)

It's good if you want to try Linux, but are not confident enough to try one of the hard-core versions, like Slackware )
