Trade Question....

now, have a question, I did a trade with someone here, a +20 trader, and when the trade was done, they told me that they would do one of the faster crediting offers because I needed the reference, and today, about 4 days later, they are still not green, and told me I would probably have to wait 10 more days so they can submit a no credit to gratis.

This ref is the last one holding up my approval, and they told me from the start that they would do one of the faster crediting offers because they knew my situation. Ends up being, they had someone else do the offer, a "friend" so they say.

My question is this, since this is holding me up, what should I do and how long is a reasonable amount of time? Like I said, it is holding me up, and I feel like I was lied to and taken advantage of by this person.

They should be given a change to submit a ticket and get a reply back.

Since it is Gratis, I say about 20 business days after the trade started. After that they should either give you the going rate for that site in the trade forum or do another referral... your choice of course.

It has taken me about 45 days to get a green from OC... Twice! Now I am one number 3, about to start number 4.

there's nothing you really can do because fast credits aren't guaranteed. I told someone I'd have my sister do a fast crediting offer and she did (video prof. online). almost 10 days later, she still hasn't recieved credit. And it's not anyone's fault.

What offer did this person do? Perhaps the "friend" didnt complete the offer... using a bad browser, etc. Maybe this person is even trying to get over on you. I would ask the trader for a screenshot of a confirmation e-mail or something... If you are suspicious that you've been scammed, post about it in the "Announcements, Scammers, Impersonators" forum. You may find that this helps your situation.

And oh yeah, next time post questions like this in the "Help!" forum.

I understand this, but the person did not even do one of the "fast crediting" offers. When I did the trade, it was my second one, where I had a 0 rating, and I feel that they took advantage of me being a noob. I think it sucks that people like this make people not want to do trades. I have had better trades with lower ref people then the higher ones as we are eager to prove we are not scammers

lol its kinda wierd, all you guys talkin about how it takes so long to do this, but im brand new to this and i started out last friday and i havent had any problems yet, got 5 greens in 2 days (literaly spent 2 whole days on this). Anyways that sucks for you... but i dont think he would put his rep at the line for this and if he did its still under his name so he would take the heat ;)

Ok, what should I do at this point? I mean there are MANY! $1 offers that would credit fast that can be done. I really feel like I got played by this person

I would post their name in the scammers area with a topic like "Be cautious of Butch, may be a scammer... Butch contact me"

or something. just replace th name butch. I hope there is noone named Butch here.

What's all the fuss? You've only given the guy 4 days to credit. Even Blockbuster has been taking 7-10 days lately. I've been waiting on a guy to go green (last one) for my photoipods for 14 days now. Big deal. Start freaking out when it's been over 2 weeks but until then he should have the chance to put in a ticket.

the problem is not the wait, the problem is part of the agreement in the trade was that he would get me a fast crediting offer. problem was he lied to me about that

A fast crediting offer was [b1765de26e3]really[/b1765de26e3] the condition of the trade when you went in (meaning this was an understodd agreement between the two of you before trading began)? So you said he didn't do a fast crediting offer. Which offer did he do?

Unless there really was an agreement pre-trade, you're not giving this guy much space.

hehehhehe, I told them from the start that I needed a faster crediting site because his ref would be one of my last. I was told not a problem, and that they would. We had the convo on AIM when we did.
