edit the $178 one was for 52 in a 35, the $378 one was for 75 in a 45... I was really going almost 90, and I blew a red (cop didn't realize)

Heh...I'm actually looking at my deposition for the 82 in a 65 I got on 4/19 - conference with the assistant DA on the 28th so I'm looking for representation to get the ticket taken care of.

Yeah those Newport cops love to get ya. I just got pulled over and hasseled by them on the 55 last week...

I had my first car, an 87 Dodge Colt (piece of ...), for almost a week before taking a road trip to snow mountain. If you have never been between vagas and utah, that only thing you are missing is a beatiful road that begs for speed abuse.

On the downhill at 90mph (65 limit) the colt felt like it was about to fall apart. When the road leveled out, I wanted to find out how fast it could go... As the needle exceeded the 120mph limit of my speedometer, the ride was smooth as glass... Untill I crapped my drawers when I looked up and saw the lights.

Luckily the cop was cool (130mph in a 65mph is felony reckless driving). He said, "I cannot believe this piece of ... did not fall to pieces at 90mph. You are so lucky...." and he joked around a bit since the highway was completely empty so I was only putting my stupid self in danger. He said if he anyone else around, he would have impounded my call and arrested me for reckless driving, endangerment, exhibition driving (showing off), and a long list of other things.

He wrote the ticket for 100+ mph which was about $500.

My first ticket, coolest cop ever met.

you would think you wouldve learned your lesson after that 1st ticket.....eeep!

i dont drive, never have and i never will......well i never plan on it anyway.

the only car i would drive would be a car that didnt run off of petrol (gas).

but those 2 tickets alone are enough to discourage me from even driving anything at all.

my last ticket was $350 for 95mph in 65 zone. got it down to $190 by going to court and pleading guilty, that shit always works. i also couldnt take traffic school cause it was more than 25mph over speed limit but the judge allowed it. D
