Hey, I'm looking to sign up for a cell phone, and I've noticed that online dealers (like wirefly.com and letstalk.com) have much better prices on phones than the carriers. But most of these deals involve rebates, which makes me a little wary. So has anyone ever ordered cell phone service through one of these online dealers and actually gotten their rebate?

amazon has good deals like you can get a sidekick 2 for free after rebates thats pretty sweet

yeah but some rebates can take up to 2 and a half months to actually come through.....thats the only thing that puts me off buying anything with a rebate on it.
if you have the (maybe a little more $ than other places might charge) money up front and can wait that long for a rebate, then i would go for it.
