I thought this was humorous. Its kind of a long read, so I'll give a summary. I got this little ad in IRC today, and was just curious. Basically this guy is selling uber alienware and voodoo desktops and notebooks (top of line everything, software, everything, all about $9,000) He even admits they are stolen. If you want to buy one of these, you have to send him $600 in CASH. And get this, you cant just put it in an envelope. You have to lihideli in a cd jewel case. Check it out for yourself...

http//monstermachines.150m.com/ ( Apparently this site is loaded with spyware attempts, proceed with caution; You'll be fine with firefox)

Monster Machines

Okay, let's get straight to the point. Why is this stuff SO cheap? It's stolen. Yea yea yea, it's hot. Is it really that big a deal? Chances are that 90% of the software on the computer you're using right now is "stolen". Besides, to enormous corporations really need any more money? You can consider me a nerdy, modern-day, Robin Hood. I steal from the rich and... sell to the poor. Hmm.. that didn't sound as valiant as I had hoped. Anyway, moving on...

Now, these prices don't come without a catch. So listen carefully, I'm going to outline in detail exactly how payment WILL work. After that, I'll do my best to explain the logic behind it all. The first thing you need to know is that I will accept NO NEGOTIATIONS whatsoever on any of these policies. If you e-mail me trying to sway even slightly from the method(s) explained here, I will ignore you immediately. I've done this before, and within an hour or so of advertising, I'm going to have 50+ e-mails from interested buyers. I don't have time to deal with the people who aren't prepared to go about this MY WAY. I understand that 90% of you guys won't go for this at all, which is cool. Hell, I wouldn't do it. However, I know that there are a select few of you who like to gamble a little bit. Maybe you have some extra money you can justify "risking". Maybe you just like to throw it all on the line for the chance to win the biggest pay-off you'll ever see. Those people, that 10% of the population, are the ones I am trying to reach with this. And they do exist, trust me.

So, what is the big deal? In short, you'll be sending me money before you get your system(s). Don't run away yet, and stop swearing at me (don't deny it; I know you're swearing at me)! These are the steps that will be taken on the path to a successful business transaction

First thing's first; e-mail me to make sure I have the hardware you're specifically interested in still left in stock. If I do, you'll be given until noon the following business day to have completed your side of the transaction with the details I provide you with. If you don't, I'll put the hardware back up for sale. I know it sounds like a shitty thing to do, but I'm far more concerned with time than I am with money. I want this stuff sold as quickly as possible. I'm not going to wait around for ANYONE, because it'd be risking my own ass even more.

1. Funds will be sent in US liCASHli, so come up with it.
2. Find a CD jewel case. For a CD case, pop the back off, lay the cash down flat, and pop it back on. Make absolutely sure you cannot see the cash. Wrap it up like a birthday gift. Use two if need be.
3. Also include a piece of paper with your exact order and your exact shipping address hidden along with the money.
4. Take it to UPS (yes, only UPS) and mail it to an address I will provide you with using their Overnight service.
5. E-mail me the tracking number.

Once I receive payment, your system will be shipped to the address you provided me with the cash. It will also be sent using UPS' Overnight service, and I will also e-mail you the tracking number for your hardware immediately. You will not have to pay for shipping.. I get all my shipping for free (even for my legitimate business) through my company's account.. 100+ shipments are sent from my office (again, legitimate orders) daily. A few extra will not be questioned or noticed. I've been doing this shit for years. Soooo, basically, when you'd normally have to pay more for shipping than you are for your system, I've eliminated that burden as well. Shipping is taken care of.

Okay, so why the hell does it have to work exactly like this? The answer is quite simple my anonymity. Every other method requires that I divulge details about myself, and I'm not prepared to do that. It wouldn't be all too smart of me to parade around IRC like an idiot advertising stolen hardware and then handing my real information over to any stranger that asks. PayPal requires a credit card which I do not own, and wouldn't use if I did (real info). A C.O.D. shipment requires I show valid identification. A money order requires I show ID to cash it. There is no other way that protects me the way this method protects me. And like I said above, if you try and sway from this in even the slightest way, you will be ignored and I will move on to the next customer. So if you're not 100% confident in following through with this, don't bother wasting both our time.

Alright, now that I have given you all the horrific details, I'll attempt to appeal to your human side. I'm not some scamming little prick out to take you for your money. Whether you believe me or not (and I suspect you don't), that isn't what I'm about. I fully realize how difficult it is to come up with spending money these days. $500 could mean rent for a roof over your head, or food for your family, or payment towards your education. The fact is, it doesn't matter what it is for - you aren't going to lose it. The prices are THIS low to minimize your risk as much as I possibly can. Yes, it is a RISK, but it is a calculated risk. When you weigh in what you stand to GAIN, the choice becomes somewhat clearer. Would you "risk" $500 for the chance to gain $9000 worth of product? In any case, I ultimately can't convince you. You are going to have to make the decision on your own. I refuse to baby anyone through this. You're big boy and girls; you can figure it out for yourself. Only you can make this work. I can't force you to do anything you aren't comfortable doing. As little as I'm sure it means to you, you have my word that this is for real. You have my word that you will not lose a penny. You have my word that this could potentially be one of the best decisions you've made for yourself in a very long time. I hope you can see that I'm genuine.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Are you a cop?
No. I'm not affiliated with law enforcement in any way, shape, or form.

2. How did you get this stuff?
Are you kidding? Ummm... let's just say this. Some of these manufacturers sell online "only", right? Not exactly. You customize a system online and place an order. It is shipped out to a holding location near you (the customer) where it is checked over to make sure everything is in proper working order, and then is shipped the rest of the way via ground delivery. So, the systems liDOli reach an actual physical destination before they arrive on your doorstep. Ahem. Enough said.

3. Can you ship to __________ ?
Yes. I can ship ANYWHERE. I've shipped to every continent in the world (except Antarctica). If UPS doesn't exist in your country, DHL works as well. No matter where you are from, you will not pay a cent for shipping.

4. How long will all of this take?
Well, you send payment overnight. I send system overnight. If all goes according to plan, we're looking at a turn-around of only 48 hours.

5. I don't have any money right now. Can you save something for me until I get paid?
NO. I can't. I've made it quite clear that I am very intent on getting rid of this stuff quickly. I'm not going to hold on to something and risk being caught with it just so you can manage to empty your piggy bank. Sorry, but no way.

6. Are you going to be doing this again in the future?
I'd hope to not have to, but you never know.

7. Is this stuff all brand new?
Yes. It is all brand-spanking-new. All in its original boxes, even with the plastic wrap still in tact.

8. How do I know I can trust you?
You don't. If you don't understand that by now, you aren't too bright. P That is what makes this a RISK on your part. Selling stolen stuff to a stranger is a RISK on my part. I can't hold your hand through a decision like this. It is up to you whether or not you can trust me. No matter what I say to you, YOU need to make the final decision.

9. Do you have past references I can contact?
Yes, but you aren't getting their information from me. How would you feel if you had just purchased some stolen goods from me and I handed out your personal information to any stranger that asked? Wouldn't be such a good idea, would it? I do everything possible to protect my customers from even the slight possibility of getting in trouble for MY illegal actions. After the deal has gone through, your information will be deleted and/or burned. I'm dead serious.

10. Boxers or briefs?
I'm a boxers man. )

So there you go, I've given you all the information I can. If you're interested in going through with this, please feel free to e-mail me. If you aren't 100% confident, please don't waste our time. I suggest that you make your decision relatively quickly though, this stuff will be completely sold out within hours, I promise.

I'm pretty sure they didn't have 50" HD-TVs 4 years ago...
