i need to block a website.
i use IE

i found it once in internet tools where you can put a password in to access a site...parental controls or something. but i can't find that option anymore. i found "restricted sites" but that's not it.

help?

PS please dont tell me to use firefox or mozilla or something.....just keep this on topic. thanks.

Click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Content Tab -> Click Enable -> Approved Sites tab -> Enter website and click Never

"disable" and "settings" under content advisor require a password.
and i can't remember if i set a password for that or if my admins did.
(FYI it's my work comp and i keep going to a forum....it's nothing bad, i just need to stop wasting time there, and it's not this one.)

You would need the admin password to change it.
