i dont know what my video card is or whatever so im not sure where to go to update it

but i cant play a game and i need to update something

plz help my computer noobness

I am not sure what your problem is.

When you try to play the game the screen is black or something. (if this is the problem, then you need a NEW video Card)

I was assuming he didnt want to spend 300+ on a new video card. When my friends come to me asking what they should get I automatically assume they are on a budget. But yeah if it were me I would go with a 6800 ultra. I use a 6800 ultra oc myself.

i know a guy who is selling a radeon 9800pro

with
artic silencer($25) and ocz ram sinks($10) on it


how long would this last me (before it becomes obsolete)

also the guy said hes never used it(besides the demo) or overclocked it

the 9800pro is an awesome card. Id buy it if i were you. Its far better than an onboard intel card....
