Can we get a list of sites that are scams stickied somewhere that perhaps only the mods can add to. That way people that are new to the free site world don't get trapped by them.
An example of sites that I would add would be prizewall.com and sofas site

how about you make a list and i will stickie it
you should also be able to edit the list in case any of the sites turn out to be valid and not scamming people.

not a bad idea, it would be best if we also linked to a post, article, etc that said it was a scam so we had more info when reading whether it was a scam

I think it will be extremely difficult to compile a comprehensive list because even if a site is "legit" there will always be people who didn't enjoy their experience. Think imonhold.com - they claim that Gratis is a scam. Perhaps something where people could "review" a site, and add new ones (subject to Administrator approval), would do the trick? That way, we could use an averaging system to rate the sites (4 stars, 5 stars, etc.).

Maybe we could have a vote for a site. Like one vote per person, check the box if you think "freepoop.com" is a scam. This way a person could check the list of sites and see all the sites that have a high amount of scam votes against it.

I like this idea, but I don't want to deal with it. So if someone wants to take this on, I'll sticky a list or whatever.

Alright here is a start to a list but I'm hungry and want to get lunch so I'll work on it more later. Also I started a list of sites that haven't been verified and don't have a forum
www.Prizewall.com – SCAM - owner tried to pretend he wasn’t the owner, lied about his proof pics (said they were grand opening promotion give aways, in reality they are his friends) His FAQs are complete lies, and well he has lied about pretty much everything and not sent out a single gift. as if we all dont know already... freetechshop=scam, unless you are armstrong.
HOLY SHIT... After I made that last post, I checked my freetechshop account and it says that I am sent to vendor!!!!! I dont think its the truth, but holy shit either way. They may come through!!!
