Practically. It's a Russian site that sells them dirt cheap and is completely legal.

any help?

EDIT Ok, don't answer that. my dumb ass figured it out.

Thanks for recommending that site! It doesn't have nearly as much of the genres that I want as the normal sites, but cheap is cheap!

yeah ive been raving about this site for a long time. heard about it last year and havent gone anywhere else since. i also said a while ago that i was gonna make a guide to allofmp3.com, but it would probably be a lot of work for not many people to be interested in it. i would recommend downloading the allofmp3 explorer....its very useful and you dont have to keep going to the site all the time.

lichecks for get behind me satan againli nope still not there (

Mmmmk, can anyone actually back up the statements of legal/not legal with proof? I need to know before I start downloading stuff. I read the TOS but it doesn't say much as far as the US.

From the register article

[quotebf21ebafba]As for the broader legality of offering the copyright material for sale, the site claims its licence covers distribution via the Internet, though we note that its Ts&Cs forbids the use of the service "if it is in conflict with legislation of your country". And "all the materials are available solely for personal use and must not be used for further distribution, resale or broadcasting" or, it adds, for "unlawful purposes".

The site continues "Under the license agreement, MediaServices [the site's parent company] pays licence fees for all the materials subject to the law of the Russian Federation 'On Copyright and Related Rights'."[/quotebf21ebafba]

What my question is, is what is the point of paying for a song just because it is "legal"? I would rather pay a bit more knowing that some of my cash is actually reaching the people involved in creating the music such as the artisists and what not.

Where do I start? I can't read Russian and the English part won't load...

EDIT Nevermind, turn off your firewalls first...

well not everyone has alot of cash....i would rather pay $50 on about 35 cds, than $50 on about 5 cd's.....its like when the whole napster thing went on.....bands and record companies got pissed cos people were getting their music for free. this is just another step up. its not free, but its not full price.

i think its better than napster or any other kinda P2P software.

It's ILLEGAL, you could use LimeWire, pay no money, and still be offending in the same way....

But, with LimeWire you don't get the warm fuzzy feeling of paying someone for your music.
