I had to get a video for a class, then make music for it. Well the music is at school but, I just through this thing together so whatever. Even though I edited it pretty bad lol. Sometimes when capturing video it like stops, any help? Is it because the USB is to slow?

well you were right your editing is horrible.
what are you using to edit it adobe premiere or avid?
i have never used a usb to dump footage on to my comp i always use firewire. when you are capturing it does it say you are droping frames or if you watch it on the camera are the frames being dropped in spots?

Are you capturing the video (capturing means you have video input device) or transferring the video via USB? If you're capturing, you need to figure out the way that puts the lowest load on your PC (so uncompressed AVI). If you just transferred it, the source video is bad, it's not your fault if it is jerky or it stops.
There are free tools out there that will do better than windows movie maker depending on your use...
