the only pirate movies i can think of are hook and pirates of the carribean. i'm sure there are more though...

I could swear there was a movie that I saw that had a huge chase scene in a pirate town... I just can't remember what the movie was about.
edit Netflix helped me out on this one. Cutthroat Island was the name of the movie. I think I might have to rent it to see if I still like it.

Treasure Island's an oldie but goodie and then you have Muppet's Treasure Island as well. The Goonies has some treasure hunting in it.
