I have a Maxtor 200gb fluid drive hard drive with 8mb cache in my Shuttle PC and a Western Digital 120gb hard drive with 8 mb cache in my main desktop. And then a Western Digital 60gb in my old Dell running an Intel P2. 8)

lol thats so gimmick. Seagates were actually the first ones to impliment the FDB motors, more of less Maxtor just uses that as as a saying.

Go try a Samsung spinbrush or a Seagate Barracuda. Also if its a 5400RPM it better be quiet. If its a 7200RPM then its understandable. Also if your other comptuer parts are noisy then of couse you wouldnt hear the hard drive wink

For anyone that cares, Best Buy is still offering the 80 gig for $20 ($60 rebate) on their website. You have until the 7th, I think, to grab it.

MrAnderson369

Yeah, it's a 7200rpm, average seek time 9.3ms.

Sure, I would love to have some huge uncompressed SCSI 15,000rpm drive, but this Maxtor is plenty for my needs.
