Preordering the Xbox 360

Who has already or is planning on preordering an Xbox 360? I'm going to EB tomorrow and putting $50 for it. PDZ looks amazing.

i just called EB and its $50.... the price doesnt matter because it goes towards the price of the 360

i think PS3 will own xbox 360, judging by the trailers from E3 so far. if u haven't watched them yet, google e3 2005 ps3 trailers and see for urself..

well the 360 games will be so much better than the "George Foreman Grill"(ps3)

There was allready a topic on this. Someone bullshitted about pre ordering one and i pwned them. I put $50 and hopefully ill sell my gratis one if i get the referrals.

I only need 2 more refs for gratis... I can wait. I have not had a game console since I got addicted to the original castle wolfenstein.

hahaha, r u kidding me? I've watched the entire E3 2005 xbox 360 and ps3 lineup of game previews, and the xbox 360 ones SUCK, they're choppy and have shitty graphics, I still can't believe it. The PS3 looks AMAZING. Before we go any further, take a look at this

Both boxes are going to have killer graphics. Whatever E3 showed, neither are finished in development.

yeah, however it shows the possibilities of each platform. The changes to the existing previewed games will just be proportional, they'll all get better but IMO PS3 will be ahead. The Cell seems to be a huge success... surprizingly...

Exactly. The aren't finished with these so you cant say the graphics will be better when all you have seen is some trailer of the game that isn't even finished.

Yeah, and considering the xbox is far closer to completion than ps3, the xbox games should be more complete too, but it's just the opposite. Your comments just confirm that the xbox will lose badly to ps3 when both come out.

clearly you are a sony fan so you can just spend $400+ on a ps3 while i have a 360 and im playing halo 3 on Xbox Live.

Halo is overrated. Call of Duty looks so so. Kill Zone looks awesome. So judging from the previews, PS3 hands down. But who's to say you can't have both consoles? Off topic - BF2 in just about a month. w00t

I'm going to pre-order the XBOX360 from Gratis, and get it the "free" way. p

I had 120 dollars in store credit at gamestop so I put it down for a 360 but am working on getting a free one also. I mean If i can get the Gratis one before Christmas I can make BANK on ebay

Yeah I played Halo, and it's way overrated. It can't compare to Counterstrike, the good old Quake multiplayer (whichever version), and other PC games.

I like PC for many types of games. RPG's and games like The Sims don't seem to work well on consoles. But I like playing games like Tony Hawk / 1st person shooters on consoles. Once you get used to the controllers it seems to work better. + It's nicer having them on the big screen.

ohh man! nothing beats good old mouse and keyboard. I used to be hardcore into Counter Strike then switched to Halo 2 on xbox live and its just not the same. I even bought a mouse and keyboard adapter for my xbox it sucks though
