PayPal ATM/Debit Card

So, who has this? Is this a good tool? It says the cost is about $1.00 every time you make a transaction correct? Can be used where mastercard is available?

Can someone give me more information on this?

I have one. It only charges $1 if you use an ATM. Other than that there are no charges.

You can also enroll in a 1% cash back program. But that only applies when you use the card like a mastercard credit card, which you need to sign for. And mine is under my dad's name so I can't.

But I like it a lot.

I personally love it. I dont take money out of ATMs with it, but make the occasional purchase with it. Its easy to add and take money off it's balance. Nice little card.

I use this puppy two or three times a day on average. It's fantastic. I've found that the $1 charge applies only when you take money out of an ATM. Most places like gas stations and grocery stores allow you to get cashback with a purchase, in which case there is no fee from paypal, although you don't get cashback on the purchase since you typically have to use it as a debit card.

I even got a cash transfer out of the card to fund a checking account at WaMu and I didn't get a fee.

I don't keep more than a couple hundred in there at a time. PayPal is notoriously shitty with being good to sellers (THE ONES WHO MAKE THEM FUCKTONS OF MONEY). So my money is always spent or transferred out of there. I strongly recommend against keeping more than 200-300 in your account, ESPECIALLY if you're doing the money market thing.

Ouch. Thanks for freaking me out Admin

I should probrably transfer it to my bank account soon anyways.

I use paypal to pay for my webhosting so, I have to leave a fair amount in there anyways.

Ive kept 1k+ in my account at times and dont feel uncomfortable about that at all. The interest im gaining in the money market is only an incentive to keep more money in there. Its gaining alot more in there than my checking account...

Because paypal's user agreement basically says they can do anything they want, anytime, and you can't do shit about it.

to xfer it in like 3 days i think it was - if you link it via your bank card useable as a cc like visa or mastercard its instant to pay through paypal - i wouldnt link this though if you care about the offers you do through paypal potential ruining your life by being able to get the money outa your bank account - i keep it unlinked as a safety net so if i oof up and dont cancel something on time i can call them and kindly apologize and request cancellation (but im in CA and they have a law that says even if im a dumb ass they have to issue a refund) lol =P good thing for me else id owe video prof a bit of cash lol i didnt send it back in time lol
