You have to had completed an offer to get the Paypal. Unfortunately, I didn't and I paid a few people to go green for me.

i understand why they closed it ;/ the only people doing this site were pros that were finishing the site (and when ppl finish it they make a lot less money)

they make money on the fish who get maybe 1 ref or none and never get the prize

I just hope they don't use excuses like these as a reason to shut down other sites.

That sucks, my sister just signed up for that in a trade but the offers page wouldn't come up. I don't know what to do about the trade now.
That $10 per ref is worse then what the guy from those VoltageNet sites was giving when they went down.

hmm, I think that if they can show you valid proof of having actually done an offer, they should give you a partial refund.

They're probably only giving you $10 to cover the cost of the offer you first completed on the site. They're not accounting for the fact that you paid or bartered with other people to get referrals. They just as well assume that you got people to visit your link for free by sending friends and family your link, not paying people to do it. I think that makes sense?? So yea, $10 to cover your inital cost.

I have a hypothetical question

Lets say yesterday I offered 30$ for someone to do a refferal for me on dvrs4free.com yesterday and they did video professor (next day credit)
now that dvrs4free is closed and i cant even see the green should I....

A) Pay the 30$ even though ive already lost 120$ thanks to the site
B) Don't pay the guy and were both SOL
C) Pay the shipping cost of video professor

Pay the shipping, plus maybe a $1 or $2 for their troubles lol

I would say to either reimburse them for their initial cost or just go ahead and do an offer for them.

dammit, the email i used for dvrs4free wasn't linked to my paypal account. now when i login it the title of the page says "Enter PayPal Account Information" but the body just says "Thank you for participating in our dvrs4free.com promotion. All orders currently placed will be fulfilled within 10 business days." i want my $10 too!

as for people who were paying for trades, i think you should pay the person the amount you inititally agreed upon for a green if they went green. it's not their fault that the site closed. if they were accepting payment for greens they were obviously doing it for profit. if you only pay the cost of the offer they did they lose out b/c they could have done the same offer for profit at another active site. if they were yellow but can show you proof they did an offer still pay the original amount. it could've gone green w/ enough time. if i was the one paying for the trade i might think differently b/c i don't want to waste money on a dead site but as an outsider this seems fairest to me.

that must be why some of us aren't able to enter paypal information. i don't think i logged into the site after i completed an offer for someone back in march or so.

I hope everyone has sent their opinions to email==inquiries@offercentric.cominquiries@offercentric.com=inquiries@offercentric.cominquiries@offercentric.com/email. There is absolutely no reason that they couldn't have given a 30 day warning, or some way to transfer the EARNED credits over to another one of their sites. Even PVPs4free credit would be better than nothing. It would at least show that they are committed to behaving professionally and respecting the people who keep them in business.

haha OC is gonna lose so much credibility for this. Dunno about anybody else but im not gonna do anymore OC sites because im not gonna get through the whole thing and have it break down like this. I always thought OC and gratis were the safe sites, and all the extra ones were fishy... now OC is over in my mind... how rediculous.
