What's the problem with coobro? I was thinking about trying pctech4free but I won't waste my time if they are prone to problems.

I wasn't looking for attention! I was just trying to start a topic about work-stresses.

You're not very nice.

You have to remember that most of these people don't yet know what work stress is. -) They think having to be to work on time is stressful.

I hate work, talking about work, hearing people talk about work, people trying to brag about how much more money they make then me and how much less work they have to do for it, people that work for there parents or suck there boss dick and get what they want. people that get fucked over by there job and end up working 10 days in a row for $7 an hour and hate every minute of it get my respect. hang in there bros. work sucks

My dad owns a construction company, some of the work I've done for him definately does not count as easy money. Not all bosses sons get it easy.

Lately I've been working as a student manager for the school's catering company, now that I've graduated I have to go find another job. At least it'll pay better.

All work is hard, people that make more than $7 an hour generally have to deal with more job complexity than those that make the minimum wages. I don't make much more than that but the work I do is definately worth more.

[quotee1c21fc47a="oasisfan"]I can't wait until I get promoted, or until I marry a rich guy & don't have to work anymore.

I can't stand being on the bottom rung, or even where I am now - a step above there.

I like my job, I do - and I'm grateful to have one, especially considering I was laid off recently...but come ON.

When are people going to learn that I'm not a machine?!?![/quotee1c21fc47a]

They say the journey is more important than the destination. I know it would be wonderful to have financial statbility and security, but the process of living your life and the struggles is more exciting to me.

I kinda think of it as, if you're playing a video game, is it more fun to have finished the game or to be playing it? (of course, I'm taking about FPS type games that end)

And, hey oasisfan, listened to the new Oasis album DBTT yet?

oasisfan

23-05-2005 07:26:47

I've heard a couple of songs off of it, and was invited to a listening party - but I didn't go. I want to wait & get the whole album next week & listen to it then. Can't wait! I'm seeing them in Boson on the 24th of June (8th row), and in September in San Diego ( 3RD ROW CENTER!)

So excited!

I make $34,000/year, and I gross about $2,833.33/month (I get paid monthly). Hourly, that's an average of over $17/hour.

Now, the kick in the pants I'm an adult, on my own, paying rent and bills, so I don't have much "free money" for the month.

My advice to those still living at home live there as long as you can rent free and save up money. It's hard living paycheck to paycheck.
