what did you do w/ your circuit city gift cards?

idk what i want w/ them.
their site doesnt have anything that i'm looking for currently. (i'm dieing to get another pair of hi-fi earphones after i returned ther er-6is)

so i was thinking about raffeling them away & putting that money towards new 'phones. what do you guys think?
would you guys be willing to pay like $5 a chance if the odds were high... maybe 1 in 10 or so.
i have 4 cards w/ 10 bucks on them each for a total of $40 if anyone's interested in this raffle.

i paid $120 for them and didn't think it was worth that much. im thinking abuot getting the e2c for 70 shipped or the 6i again for 85 shipped.

I have 2 $10 cards for circuit city. I am planning on putting them towards Lumines or something like that for when I get my free psp.

obviously youre trying to get more than they are worth (10 chances @ 5 bucks = $50 bucks for $40 in cards)...just sell them on ebay and take what you can get

hell no. people at school do raffles all the time, they charge $1 per ticket for like $200 worth of stuff and people still don't want to waste $1 b/c they think they'll loose.

the thing is, the school sells more than 200 tickets... so a ticket would have a 1 in 200++ chance of winning.
this 5 ticket would be a gauranteed 1 in 10 chance of winning
even if a student bought $5 worth of tickets at your school, it'd be a 1 in 40 chance at best winning.

Well, I can't explain anymore as to why this wouldn't work lol. I know I wouldn't be interested in paying $5 for a 10 percent chance at $40.

I'd be interested in paying $1 for a raffle ticket if you capped it at 50 tickets. Seems more reasonable than $5 even though the odds are the same.

Actually I used them for me free psp. I got the pelican traveling case that holds 4 games and two memory sticks and two screen protectors.

I spent my on a ABSURDLY overpriced 5E ethernet cable.
$35 for 50' at circuit city.
$10 for 50' at ebay.
