Hi everyone. I've got a question for the Xbox users. I was wondering if someone knew how to share harddrive/dvd drive of the xbox on a windows network, so that it shows up with the other shared drives and directories on my network when i go to "network neighborhood"

I've already got a hard drive from my computer shared, with tv shows and movies on it, and can watch this using xbox media center. But I'm curious if i can share the files on the xbox so I can access them using normal windows applications without going through FTP.

Any advice would be appreciated, even if just a link to a website that explains how.

You might want to talk to MicroChris, he is an XBOX whiz. I think he can help you big time.

Yeah you should be able to it.

Let me get a little more information as to what youre running (modchip, modem, router, etc) and I'll let you know.

The best way I've found to do this is run xbox media center (or a dash that gives you an ip) and then connect to the drives using a program called WebDrive...

This next guide will also work, but I found it to be slower...
