Really, though, if you are in bigtime trouble, I'd call an attorney. The IRS can be fairly easily beaten back with representation of any sort.

what are they taxing you for? your free shit?

the law is that if you free stuff over a certain amount (can't remember what it is) then the net value compounded for each item is subject to taxation...

I remember reading it on a contest site, but since the prize was only worth $200, then you wouldn't be taxed.
