PSPs - Illegal Games?

A friend just told me that PSPs can play games off of memory sticks now. Anyone heard anything?

I am sure that there will be but i dont think there is... as of yet...

that would be great if u could just hook up an external hard drive to it. and keep it in like your backpack or something and have like 100gigs of space.

i thought they craked open the UMD, but you cant use that information becuase you can't burn UMD discs

how do you play the files off of the memory stick? i thought that was not possible

JK - I don't know, he told me that he has like 4 or 5 games on his memory stick - I'll talk to him - I think that I am going to his house today, so I'll let you know

Only Japanese PSPs can run them now. Not sure if you'd be able to flash your rom with the Japanese rom file but if that was the case you'd be able to play games and apps off of your memory stick.

And to whoever keeps posting about playing movies on the PSP, duh! It it definately not a new thing that you can play movies on the PSP. Thats like saying, "oh yeah, and you can listen to music too!"

If they can extract the ISO and get it on the memory stick (as long as it has some kind of executable, like ELF), it should work..

I'm holding off on getting a PSP until the modding scene rips it apart.
