Ok, need your help...
What would you guys do in this situation, I agreeed to a trade with someone.
Well understandably Gratis took like a month to credit him. The problem is I submitted for approval 8 days ago without him going green yet. I posted yesterday that I was finally approved and submitted my order.
Today I get a PM from this guy that says "Looks like I FINALLY went green on freedigitalcameras.com"
Unfortunately as most know once you place your order you don't know if anyone went green or who it was if someone did.
Would you take the word, even though it is coincedental that the person contacted right after you placed the order?
If I would have been able to see his green, that would be a different story... I would have had no problem. The other thing is, I don't know if I had added the disclaimer in my sig before or after this trade was initiated.
Thoughts?

When did you place your order? If it was a day before that there's an easy answer twisted
1) Cancel the order - you won't have to go through approval again, you just have to redeem your gift again
2) Once you cancel the order - you see all your referrals again, and you can check whether he/she is tellign the truth
3) Once you verify this - place your order again - if it's just one day after you first ordered, it won't hurt your ship date at all

i wouldnt go that far......not everyone is a scammer....non-scammers would have no reason to fake a screenshot......if you suspect he is a scammer then do all you can to get proof that he is...or isnt. if you then still think he is a scammer then call him out on the scammers board......if he gives a shit about it and isnt a scammer then he will respond to defend himself.
thats what i would do.

Still a PM that it went green, after Realtor's post that he was approved is a bit suspicious.
Another note - Realtor, did you complete your part of the trade? What was it?

It was for DVRS.
I think I am just gonna do it and be a trusting person. I am not gonna cancel my order, my luck I would be put on hold or something...

As you wish )
Cancelling your order while it's still processing doesn't hurt at all - I've had like 5 or 6 orders cancelled on the DesktopPC site, and I didn't have any problems at all...
