I think online banking is going to continue to rise along with online stocks , etc.

Financial stuff...

Just to let everyone know, I know about nothing with the Internet so my idea means less to nothing.

There is no way that all of that stuff is going to come true.

Googlezon. Just because this movie is made, none of those names are ever going to become reality

as far as internet future goes. i predict that there will no longer be news on television. it will all be online. mainstream media proves time and time again that they are not equal on both sides. about 80% of humans on this planet rely on good quality news that tells the whole story with resources to back it up. not a dumb talk show that just repeats headlines every 10 minutes. what kind of information is that? just jibber jabber. what do you guys think?

No really. I read an article about the Internet 2 and they say information will run through power lines. I don't see how thats possible though.

sure, the movie exagerated the point a bit and took it a bit far, but some of it's very plausable

very interesting i must say, though i still see several obsticles standing in googles way. Im not saying this many not happen, but there are problems with it.

1. Googles strongest point, is also their weakest point. In terms of their search engine.

2. The supreme court would NOT rule in Googles favor if that really occured

3. Google is defently violating copywrite laws, as they themselves said google takes snips here and there. Once it gets that big many new agenacys will fight google.

4. This can also be viewed as a monopoly, which the US no longer allows due to what happened with companies such as the "standard oil company" and such.

5. As powerful as google is right now, it can go bankrupt within the next month. (in relation to point 1)
