Im having trouble deciding.. either the Proview HV-207[=http//www.ezhotdeal.com/catalog/catalog.asp?i=1789]Proview HV-207 or the Planar XP17W[=http//www.axiontech.com/prdt.php?src=FG&item=68410]Planar XP17W. Whats "better"?

Judging by the lack of responses, I'd say there are no TV experts here (or at least awake).

Now I wouldn't call myself an expert but I do enjoy some good TV watchin every now and then. Taking a look at the specs from each companies' websites, Proview[=http//www.proview-usa.com/specsheets/hv207.pdf]Proview and Planar[=http//www.planar.com/Environments/Home/home_entertainment/productLayout_3_1287_972.cfm]Planar, the Planar is a true widescreen TV with a 169 ratio but it doesn't display a HD signal. It also has a slower response time than the Proview. The Proview though is larger but is only an EDTV not HD and has a faster response time (16ms) over the the Planar's 25ms response time.

I honestly don't think the Flatscreens are good on OC at all. That's what you get for $450. Save the money and buy a good TV.

The cash seems like a poor choice, considering the Planar sells for 550 dollars.

Alright, then get the Planar, sell it on eBay, and buy a decent TV!
