IS the xenium chip soldered on or did the guy use the no solder attachment. Im guessing he soldered it since its cheaper.
as a side note
you can buy xbox brand new for 150$, xcuter3 chip (newest and best on market) for 50$, and a 200 gig HD for 100$ (on ebay). And download the newest firmware/emulators/roms/dashboards/etc etc etc for free online (www.xbox-scene.com)

i modded my xbox awhile ago, xecuter 2 vintage. I think the system can only handle 138 megabytes or something so save some money and go with smaller HD if you go with Lunarpancake's idea which i suggest.

If your BIOS supports LBA48, then you can use the rest of the larger drives (138GB+).

Yes 138GB with the old chips, with the new ones you can have any HDD size you want, I have two xbox's - one of them has 160GB and the other one has 400GB HDD.

Selling the games with the xbox is illegal unless you have the origanal game with it. Your bios is also illegal because it modifies microsofts code, and they did not give you permission. The emulators are also illegal because they are programmed with microsofts SDK which they did not have permission to do. Your roms are also illegal because they where ripped by pirates and illegaly spread against the requests of the original owners of the games. Each rom can get you a 1000$ fine and if someone turns you in they will get 500$.
Plus it is overpriced. I can modify xbox's since they where first cracked. The xbox goes for 140$. Plus a GOOD chip not that xenium ice, would be 55$ for a xecuter 3. That HDD is probaly a 120gig 5400rpm that my handy friend pricewatch will give me for 52$ shipping included. That brings the total to 140$ + 52$ + 55$ = $247. Now of course you have to factor in it being used that should be 20$ less, at least. So $227 should be the figure that you are looking at geting for that xbox.

I dont see the since in placing a 400gig in a xbox. The price for a 400GB at the GB to buck ratio is insane compared to 160gigs. And even if you use it as a HTPC frontend you should just make a hardware RAID on your backend and not on the front. And having a 160gig wtf. You could fit every good xbox game all the MAME N64 SNES NES GBA and good 100% working PSX roms on one and still have room for some porn.
