I know this is such a bored topic and has most likely been posted before. But here it goes. What type of music does everyone listen to, and what are you currently listening to, if anything. I personally like pretty much everything but country, sorry i just cant do it. I especially like dnb/jungle. Right now im listening to drumagick-easy boom.

I am pretty much like you, I listen to almost everything except country... something about that twangy guitar makes me cringe. What I listen to the most I guess you would classify as "indie rock", but I also like more mainstream stuff like U2, R.E.M., The Cure, etc. Some of my favorites at the moment

Brendan Benson (good one for all you detroiters to check out)
The Arcade Fire
Death Cab for Cutie
Social Distortion
Kaiser Chiefs
Cinerama / The Wedding Present

Beatles, Cream, Ten Years After, The Band, Bob Dylan, CCR, Badfinger, Doors, Rolling Stones, Def Leppard, AC/DC, The Cars, Van Halen...

Depeche Mode (one of my longtime favs), Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver (going to see them in concert this coming Monday night), Nine Inch Nails, Duran Duran, Audioslave, Cracker, Limp Bizkit, Drowning Pool, Killswitch Engage, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Green Day (my daughter would shoot me if I forgot them)

Jay-Z, Puff Daddy, Ice Cube, Ice-T, Body Count, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg

Shania Twain and Faith Hill ... that's about it for country.

A lot of new age like Dave Koz, Manheim Steamroller.. stuff like that, minus Kenny G and other manufactured crap.... ie. Josh Groban.. "blech"

That's about all I can think of at the top of my head. There's so many more... 3400 songs in my iPod so far and most of the above are in it.
