Get4Friends Delay

Just got an Email saying get4friends was delaying their shipment of ipod minis by at least two weeks. They did state that I could change my prize selection. Did anybody else get this Email, I was really looking forward to getting that Ipod mini this week.

Sucks (. But 2 weeks isn't too bad. I waited 2 months for m y30GB iPod photo from TheFreeProject that came today.

I agree I can wait two weeks, I just hope this doesnt become a trend.

Didn't get that email but I changed to Paypal. I got car issues. ( So I guess I have to take care of that now. I hope Pookie is going to do another payout soon?

Pookie is the altec lansing ipod sound dock offered on your site the IM3 version? The picture is of the older and much less expensive model.. just curious!

People are getting their prizes. So she started off slow. So there were a few hiccups. So be it. Least things are moving now. All business etc... have a few obstacles at first.

I am STV... About two weeks. I'll let you know wht happens to me. I may have caused some issues by changin my prize but who knows. I went with paypal. People who have received prizes from this site should post so we know how things are going.

Glad to hear it Rebeljt! I hope that the two week timeframe for the ipodminis doesnt get extended, but surely pookie is sending at least what is available at the moment.

A month for paypal is kind of long lol.
I could kind of understand a month for an ipod though b/c it's being shipped.

I'd say at least twice a month should be a standard for sending paypals. If this is a money issue with an established business, then you have a problem with your business model.

you guys dont understand that this site (get4friends) is owned by one person, not a company, not a group of businessmen.

The owner gets paid monthly usually, and cant affors to ship ANYTHING untill all the money that was generated by the user that gets the gift is accounted for.

In other words, she doesnt send anything untill her fat check with the money on it that you generated for her clears the bank. Expect at LEAST 1month wait on sites like this (privately owned sites)

If you want speed......go for an OC or Gratis, or J&T..even though theyre not much faster sometimes.

I'm only doing this for the first few months, to make sure that the checks come in and SC doesn't happen all over again. After that, I will try to ship twice a month, up to 3 times a month.

I think oc spoiled me. I'm used to getting paypal in like 3 days. So if I ever happen to do any other site that offers paypal, I probably wouldn't be able to handle waiting lol.

I like your site, I think its a cool idea and more sites should offer the plethora of gifts that you do. I did not know when your site first opened so I wasn't sure what phase you were in.
