Hey. Has anyone been working on freefender.com?

They gave me credit for my first two referrals, no problem, but after that, nothing. I know 5 other people who have completed too, and freefender won't respond.

Any input/experiences are appreciated.

Just do Offercentric, get $300 and buy a used Strat on ebay.

The Fender is surely Mexican and that's about $38/ref for freefender. Just would make more sense to do Offercentric.

bah....fenders are overrated anyways.......get urself a nice ibanez or gibson custom.

Best way to buy a instrument is simple
1) find the local music mega-store near where you live
2) wait for them to closeout their old stock
3) buy at super reduced prices

i got a gibson special gold leaf edition for 235....with free hard case and spare set of strings. MSRP was 699 for guitar alone.

First, fenders aren't overrated. No more than iPods.People have fenders from 30 years ago that they are still playing...but, that's not what this post is about.

I already have over 100 referrals, many of which are going to complete offers, so I think I'd like my end of the deal to be completed.

And also, apparently someone emailed them and was told the Fenders are American US Series. You can get those for 600 bucks, and it makes since since mini mac's are around 600 and need the same amount of referrals.

American Fender Strats cost $900-$1000 I think. But, they make so many Strats they cover all the price range. Do you know exactly what kind of strat it is?

There's that 600 range US series strat that doesn't exist

Also, there are some real nice mexicans out there that are in the 500-600 dollar range that play just as well as the americans.

Someone on this board posted in another thread that they heard from freefender.com that they were US series, so that's where I got that info

People say the Mexicans play as good as the American ones but I think it's bullshit. Not becuase of skill of labor or anything, it's just that Fender does not allow the Mexican factory to have the same material and options as the American factory.

The Mexican factory has to produce guitar with less frets, lower quality wood and finishes and lower quality electronics and parts. No matter how well the Mexican is crafted, it will not be the same as the American one.

And, the Highway one are Satin finishes - or very little finish. Hmm, I thought the highway 1 were Mexican.

The Mexican versions come with guacamole' inside.....yummy

anyways...YES....Fender is overrated. Just cuz you have one from the 1960's doesnt mean its any good. Shit, for not much more then the US Strat's (if any more at all) I could get a completely custom guitar.

well, it is free.............................. kinda.

Fender kicks ass for certain applications. Like if your band wants a nice clean sounds then def. Fender guitar and amp.

Also, Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead uses a Fender Tele. Kurt Cobain used Jaguars and strats.

But Fender guitars wouldn't work very well in metal music I suppose. The guitar isn't heavy enough and the neck isn't glued on for that kind of sound.
