Currently, my cyberpower has a Geforce MX400 128 MB Video card in it. ?

Since I'm getting a 20" flatscreen and play a decent amount of video games, i figured i'm going to need some a bit more powerful.

Anyone here have any suggestions as to a good card to buy?

I was going to buy this one
http//www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=14-102-362&catalog=23&manufactory=BROWSE

But I wanted opinions/testimonials and any better suggestions.

Keep in mind, my budget is limited...
I actually got the Radeon x800 off of pctech4free, but I think that's going to be TOO powerful. shock
I'd rather just sell that, buy something less powerful, and pocket the difference.

Thanks for the help ;)

Take a look at the 6200 TC, I have never used it, but check the specs against the 9800 pro. If that is your budget, and the 9800 pro has dropped that much, then that would be a great choice. Just be very careful with Sapphire.

[quote67a4390738="freedesktoppc"]I'd personally go with the BFG OC nvidia 6600gt. At about $200, it should be more powerful than a 9800 pro. Also, you should watchout when buying saphire products, as they have been known to falsely advertise, and downgrade the core secs of their cards.[/quote67a4390738]

nvidia BLOWZ...as for 100-150 range wood...dont sell yourself short, save up a lil more even if it takes extra time and get a higher end card...itll pay off in the long run esp. with how fast games are advancing and requiring more power! radeon 9800 pro or higher...check www.pricewatch.com! great deals..

9800 pro that u selected would be perfect for you, if not a litle too powerfull.

You are so bias, Nvidia does not blow. They each have their strong points. Ati leads in certain areas and Nvidia leads in certain areas, Nvidia is currently changing big time with SLI technology. Wood heres a employees price list, if your interested in any of them lemme know. (All in Wonder=TV card built in) If you do only a little gaming such as Command and Conquer Generals or CS (something along those lines) a 9600 Pro should be sufficent for you. You cant use PCI-E as we discussed. Heres something to compare the X____ series with the 9____ series.

The X600s are ~= to the 9600XTs
The X700s are ~= in bewteen 9700Pro & 9800Pro.
