Because admins in Gratis might find you saying not so good things about them and they can figure out who you are by your order number.

I believe that the real reason is because the order numbers (atleast on Gratis sites) are also the DHL reference numbers. This means that if someone had your order number, they could track your package. I'd rather not have someone tracking my package $300 iPod...how about you?
