I keep getting the error where it blinks between green and orange. I dont wanna install itunes so i manually dragged the songs onto the ipod as it said you could do. Any ideas how to fix it?

did you get this error while it was plugged into your computer or while it was playing music?

You're stuck. The music partition is the only place the software on the Shuffle can read from, and you can't get to it, AFAIK, anyway other than with iTunes.

But really, what's the big deal with using iTunes? Just use it to transfer your songs and be done with it. It's not like you have to use it for anything else.

The problem is the dragging/dropping. Use itunes.

the blinking orange and green lights mean there is no songs loaded into ur shuffle. like others have said, stick with itunes and you'll have no problem
