Does video professor send a confirmation/welcome email?

I just signed up for video professor to complete my tech4free account (20" woot).

I checked my email, but I didn't receive any email from them..


Was I supposed to get an email?


And does anyone have any idea how long this should take to credit?

Is it the online version or the one where they actually send you the materials? I just did the online one and got credit the next day (this is from phreelcds), and I got a confirmation email.

Both my daughter and I did Video Professor and neither of us got confirmation emails.

I had to call the number to discuss issues with my account with them.

I didn't get any emails from video professor. I got credit within like 2 days. It took a while for my CDs to arrive and I was about to leave the country on spring break, so I called them and they were very nice about just extending the deadline for me to try the CDs. When I got back, they were here and I called them and told them I wasn't interested. They closed my account and I've still never received an email from them.

So just don't worry about it. When you call they'll know who you are.

i never got a confirmation email either.. they credit somewhat quickly, 2 or 3 days I suppose. when you receive the CDs, if you're not happy with them call up and discontinue the service. you'll need to provide the number that is on the little slip of paper they mailed the CDs to you with. you'll be given a number.. put one of the cds in a padded envelope, write that number on the envelope and give it to your mail carrier.. you're done.

I don't remember getting a confirmation e-mail either, but I did get credit within about 2 hours on FreeFlatScreens.com.

It doesn't looks like I got a confimation email, myself.

I neither get an email nor credit from video professor through gratis website.. It's almost 15 days now. Anyone knows what I'm supposed to do?

I got one, but only after requesting it 3 times. There is only one person who sends those emails and she does them in bulk every few days, according to their CS rep.

I never needed it because I got credit after 5 days I think.

I signed up on 3/22...Stupid Video Professor never sent me my CDs but charged me $69.95 anyway!

I noticed the charge today and called the 1-800 number after trying unsuccessfully to log into the videoprofessor.com site. The operator said that they should have shipped 3/24 and that they could re-ship them, but they could not extend the review period past the original date of 4/30.

I told her that if the review period couldn't be extended, then I would like my money back, since that defeats the purpose of offering the review period in the first place. She sounded reluctant, but didn't argue with me and gave me a cancellation # to refer to if necessary. I'm kind of disappointed that they never showed up, but at the same time, I guess my mom is better off learning how to use the computer from me anyway...

neither did i......ive moved since i did their offer and still have not recieved the cd's, but they should have gone to my forwarding address since ive recieved other things that were forwarded. how long is the trial period for? what happens if you recieve the cd's AFTER the trial period ends?

oh and i got credit within about 10 minutes on freephotoipods. fastest yet.
