AOL is a bitch to deal with... for anything. I kept mine a month longer than I should have (which was one month past the trial) and I never had such a hard time trying to convince the person on the other end that everything they provided, my cable modem provider was already giving me - included in my monthly fee. Didn't seem to sink in why I would want to pay another $26 a month to get the same news, weather, sports and other features.

We already have AOL so I guess I cant do that, but I'm the only one that doesn't use aol for web browsing it makes no sense. Its good enough for email and instant messaging

yeah.. you just gotta take a stand.. dont want to do anything stupid, because they do have access to some personal info.. just tell them you are done and there is no chance you want to continue the service.

yes. but they aren't allowed to sell your information, you could sue them, and they wouldn't want that.
like i said. you have to know what to say. -D
i should make a whole little pamphlete about it and sell it on eBay, haha

arent most of these calls recorded? they almost always say "this call may be recorded for quality purposes." in that case, it is their job to do as much as they can to keep you on there.. if they get caught letting you slide they are done.
